Former radio personality Rachel Ettinger has joined TechAlliance as a strategic advisor
FRESH OFF A three year-run as one of the morning voices on 97.5 Virgin Radio London, Rachel Ettinger has joined TechAlliance’s Venture Growth & Corporate Innovation as a strategic advisor.
“I am so excited to welcome Rachel to our team and to our community of dreamers and innovators,” said TechAlliance CEO, Christina Fox, in a released statement. “She is passionate about the innovation economy and is excited to take her media skills, entrepreneurial experience and MBA learnings into the next chapter of her career with TechAlliance.”
Ettinger, who is also a 20 Under 40 alumni Class of 2018, holds a BSc and BBA from St. Francis Xavier University, and is currently completing her MBA through the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. After beginning her radio career in Halifax, she became the cohost of London’s number-one morning show, Jeff and Rachel in the Morning with Backstage Ben, on 97.5 Virgin Radio London.
A noted influencer and community connector, Ettinger will draw on her entrepreneurial and social enterprise experience to support our region’s innovation economy. She is also the founder of Here for Her, a social enterprise that inspires people to discuss all things health. Here for Her’s biggest impact to date was its menstrual equity initiative, which was implemented by the City of London last fall.
