LONDON-BASED ECOMMERCE and digital marketing firm Northern Commerce is seeking applications from local nonprofit organizations and charities to be the next Northern Cares Charitable Partner ― an opportunity for qualifying organizations to receive up to $150,000 of in-kind digital agency services.

“Times like these have highlighted the importance of nonprofits and charities to have an online presence — since people are unable to attend events or visit in-person,” said Corey Dubeau, VP marketing at Northern Commerce. “We recognize that nonprofit organizations and charities have limited funding and budget constraints which can hinder their online growth. As a growing business ourselves, we are dedicated to giving back to our communities by supporting organizations that help make a positive impact.”

Northern Cares (NCares) is an extension of the Northern Commerce brand which provides a platform for the company’s corporate philanthropy, social responsibility and charitable initiatives. The goal of the Northern Cares Charitable Partner initiative is to help organizations navigate the digital landscape and reach their growth goals so they can continue to serve others and make a difference in their communities—especially in these uncertain times.

The current NCares charitable partner, Humane Society London & Middlesex, received agency services from Northern Commerce encompassing all things digital. This included a full rebrand, web design and development, creative asset development, social media management, digital advertising and more.

After launching the new brand, Humane Society London & Middlesex saw a 36 per cent increase in donations year-over-year, a 150 per cent increase in website traffic, 500 per cent growth in social media traffic, and 1200-plus new visitors to the shelter in 2019.

Applications for the upcoming NCares Charitable Partner initiative must be submitted by May 31, 2020. For additional information or to submit an application,  click here. Giving back through support COVID-19
