Air Canada to resume flights out of London International Airport on June 22
AIR CANADA HAS announced is will resume flights out of London International Airport (LIA) starting June 22. The carrier suspended flights to and from London about six weeks ago due to Covid-19.
Currently there is only one daily commercial flight operating out of the airport ― a Westjet flight between London and Toronto.
Prior to the pandemic, Air Canada operated nine flights to Toronto, two to Ottawa and one to Montreal from the LIA.
According to Air Canada, the return to scheduled flights will be staged to meet demand, with further details due to be released as restrictions are lifted and the economy continues to reopen.
