THE SECOND SNOWFALL of the year exemplifies the cooling of the real estate market, as new listings slow down and the inventory of homes declines.

Recent escalations in Covid-19 infections are tightening restrictions and may serve to have a further slowing effect on listings.

Despite the reduced number of listings and transactions, prices have continued their relentless climb, and there are still multiple bids for most properties at the bottom half of the market.
