Two simple tales from December for consideration: A Byron listing at $540,000 drew 60-plus showings two weeks before Christmas and sold under multiple offers for $155,000 over the asking price. A Windermere-area estate home listed at $1,275,000 sold in three days, under multiple offers, for $175,000 over the asking price. Our client bid $125,000 over the asking price and lost the house by $50,000.
