London Chamber names new CEO
Graham Henderson has been appointed as the London Chamber’s new CEO
THE LONDON CHAMBER of Commerce board of directors has announced the appointment of its new CEO.
Graham Henderson will step into the role, effective March 22, 2021. Henderson will be replacing the retiring Gerry Macartney.
Most recently, Henderson, 66, was CEO of music industry advocacy group Music Canada, a role he held for 15 years. He also served with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce for 12 years in several roles, including chairperson, and has worked as an entertainment lawyer and as a senior vice-president with Universal Music Canada.

“Having conducted an extensive recruitment search process, we are very excited to welcome Graham to our well known and highly respected team in both the London business community as well as the Chamber network across Ontario and Canada” Chamber board president, Vijai Lakshmikanthan, said in a Chamber statement.
“He is incredibly passionate about the Chamber and this role in helping to not only continue the strong voice of business we have but also amplify it across digital channels in support of our members and key stakeholders. Graham is very focused on equity, diversity and inclusion, having made great strides in his career to create policies and make necessary changes in all organizations he’s been involved with.”
Graham, who is married to Margo Timmins, lead singer of the Canadian band Cowboy Junkies, will be relocating to the city from the Toronto area.
