IN A YOUTUBE video message sent to London Home Builders’ Association members, Jared Zaifman has announced that he has been appointed incoming CEO of the residential construction industry group.
A former city councillor, Zaifman’s father, Bernie Zaifman (who passed away in 2018), built Z Group into a development giant in London.
Zaifman will take over from retiring Lois Langdon who has been with he LHBA for over 25 years.
Founded in 1952, the LHBA is the voice of the residential construction industry in London and provides a forum for its members to share information, promote best practices and support the community at large. It represents more than 250 member companies including builders, developers, renovators, trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions and a host of allied professionals. The LHBA is affiliated with both the Ontario Home Builders’ Association and the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.

The group also annually hosts its Awards of Creative Excellence to recognize quality products and industry accomplishments. Members are honoured for special achievements in energy efficiency, health and safety, marketing and design, as well as for personal voluntary commitments to the association and the housing Industry.
