APRIL WAS ANOTHER record month in house pricing and number of transactions, but the percentage rise has slowed ― and perhaps come to an end ― as we’ve seen considerable softening in the last few weeks.
Volume for 2021 is up enormously: almost 4,000 homes have changed hands in the London and St. Thomas region so far this year, a rise of over 57 per cent over 2020. That is perhaps the best reason why we’re seeing a softening in the market.
