WHEN WE SEARCH for a house, we are in pursuit of a home. The place we will call home is partly chosen for the street, neighbourhood and city in which it resides. The schools, nearby shopping and places of worship all contribute to making this house a home. These aspects contribute to our sense of community.
This past Sunday, all of us experienced a loss that struck our sense of community to the core. A senseless act of violence and terror devasted a London family and rocked our community. We must rebuild our sense of community, providing for all our neighbours, of all faiths and backgrounds, to feel equally safe living within our city.
