THE GREEN LEADER AWARDS is an annual celebration and award ceremony to recognize the outstanding achievements of members of the London Environmental Network and Green Economy London.
For its second year, the award categories have been expanded to recognize even more leaders in the environmental community and sustainability sectors. The Green Leader Awards are a great way to celebrate and recognize London’s leaders for their dedication to making London a greener, more resilient city for all to enjoy.
As part of the expanded program, the Green Leader Awards is seeking nominations from the London community for the following awards: Youth Leader, Sustainability Champion and Lifetime Achievement (see award descriptions below). Nominations must be submitted by August 15, 2021, at 11:59 p.m., and multiple nominations are permitted.

Youth Leader Award
The Youth Leader Award recognizes a young individual (25 and under) that demonstrates environmental leadership and a commitment to sustainability in their personal lives. They may have started an initiative to raise awareness and take environmental action in their school, workplace, home or elsewhere in the community.
Sustainability Champion Award
The Sustainability Champion Award goes to an individual who shows their commitment to sustainability and takes action to create positive environmental change in the community over the past year.

Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a person who has devoted a significant amount of time and effort during their career and lifetime to environmental action and stewardship.

Do you know someone who has started an environmental group, raises awareness about sustainability, has reduced their climate footprint or started a green initiative? Be sure to nominate them for a Green Leader Award for a chance to be recognized for their work!
The winners will be selected by the London Environmental Network’s Board of Directors, and the award recipients will be invited to attend the Green Leader Awards in October, 2021 with in-person and virtual options for attendance.
