TechAlliance announces the appointment of four new members to its board of directors

TECHALLIANCE ANNOUNCED THIS week the expansion of its board of directors with the appointment of four seasoned entrepreneurs from the region. The new board member are:

Christine Haas, co-founder & president, Renix Inc.
Ian Haase, serial entrepreneur, co-founder, Motif Labs
Brian Maxfield, president, Online & Digital Education Academy (ODEA)
Dr. Asha Parekh, co-founder & CEO, Front Line Medical Technologies Inc.

According to Christina Fox, TechAlliance CEO, the addition of the new board members will help to attract new tech talent, accelerate growth and enhance mentorship to aid in the overall expansion of Southwestern Ontario’s innovation economy.

The new board members will bring an increased focus from a variety of verticals in the tech sector, including health-tech, clean-tech, advanced manufacturing, ed-tech and the generation of intellectual property.

“By adding prestigious members to our board, we continue to align ourselves with diversity and regional representation,” observes board chair, Keith Murray. “It is our priority to invest in Southwestern Ontario’s vibrant technology sector through a board that reflects economy-driving business.”
