Partnering to drive deals

AutoVerify partners with Lubrico Warranty to bring automotive dealers additional finance and insurance products

LONDON’S AUTOVERIFY, POWERED by Mobials Inc., has announced a new partnership with Lubrico Warranty to help automotive dealers increase finance and insurance (F&I) centre profits.

Established in 1977, London-based Lubrico is one of Canada’s best-known providers of aftermarket vehicle warranties, which are made available at over 4,000 dealerships across Canada and honoured at over 3,000 authorized repair facilities.

Lubrico Warranty products are now integrated into AutoVerify Spotlight, the digital merchandising function in the AutoVerify digital retailing suite, a platform that helps dealers to connect with online car shoppers by answering pre-purchase questions instantly and providing the ability to build a “ready-to-desk” deal that is based on the car shopper’s verified credit information.

According to AutoVerify, studies have shown that 63 per cent of car shoppers are more likely to purchase F&I products if they were introduced earlier in the buying journey. By highlighting Lubrico Warranty products on dealership websites, AutoVerify Spotlight aims to drive awareness of the protection and warranty products available for the vehicle the customer is looking at, increasing the likelihood of that customer purchasing these products when the time comes to close the deal.

“Building win-win relationships with drivers and dealers is the key to our ongoing success,” says Henry Hammond, director of marketing, product and technology at Lubrico Warranty. “With AutoVerify Spotlight, everybody wins ―it empowers drivers with the information they need and enhances the dealer’s ability to connect and convert.”

“We are very excited to be partnering with an industry giant like Lubrico,” adds Marty Meadows, president at AutoVerify. “This partnership will help improve the consumer experience by providing a better education about their warranty options, it will help dealers sell more Lubrico Warranty products, and it will add value to AutoVerify Spotlight.”

According to Robin Steele, senior manager of corporate partnerships at AutoVerify, the new partnership with Lubrico Warranty will help demonstrate the value of AutoVerify Spotlight as an innovative solution to the challenge all F&I providers face ― less feet in store and fewer opportunities for dealers to talk about value-adding products and services upfront. “With Spotlight, Lubrico Warranty products will now be front-and-center on website VDPs, helping educate consumers and increasing dealership F&I sales.”
