For this year’s Dream Home, Royal Oak Homes has taken a classic Tudor architectural style and brought it from 16^th-century Britain into the 21st century, creating a beautiful and functional family home in the process. Curved archways, sliding windows and soaring ceilings come together to create a sense of luxury and space, and the open-concept kitchen area will make you feel like you’re dining and cooking in a high-end event space ― just steps away from your own covered back patio.

Designed by multi-award-winning designer and stager Jillian Summers, the home’s interior is anchored by many luxurious and subtle design details. Consider the gold light fixtures, the sandy tile backsplash in the kitchen or the green shiplap bedroom walls — the features of this house take it from executive-style home to Dream Home territory.

There are four bedrooms over nearly 3,000 square feet of living space, making it plenty big enough for the whole family. The kitchen features an enormous professional-grade fridge, loads of storage space, a beautiful custom centre island and a butler pantry just off the kitchen for prep and storage. There’s also an office space, separated by a glass wall, a walk-in wine cabinet, a beautiful, black-walled formal dining room and beautiful electric fireplace to round out the main floor.

Upstairs there’s four comfortable bedrooms, with the master featuring a luxurious ensuite with custom-tile shower and standalone soaking tub, as well as a cozy reading nook right at the top of the stairs, looking out over the neighbourhood and the downstairs landing.
