Woodfield Design + Build is honoured to present the Fall 2022 Dream Home. The beautiful exterior elevation offers a grand street presence with a pronounced 2-storey chimney and oversized windows. The interior is loaded with unique design elements. The office showcases a groin-vaulted ceiling that is sure to impress. The staircase and custom black metal railings are modern, yet elegant. The kitchen features a floor-to-ceiling cultured stone backsplash and French doors leading to a small appliance kitchen.

From the moment you walk in, the architectural details and finishes radiate elegance, yet the home feels very approachable with its laidback and organic feel. The home has many beautiful details not found in homes today. Favourite features include the ceiling detail in the office, the porcelain mantle on the fireplace, the textured walls in the powder room and the beautifully arched primary shower. This house has everything the modern family needs and would be a joy to come home to!

This home was designed with the modern family in mind. Each bedroom features its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. Thanks to a zoned climate control system, each floor can be separately temperature controlled, offering the ultimate comfort. Also incorporated, is a smart home technology that can be activated by voice or smartphone. The main goal for this year’s Dream Home, was to design a space that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Partners Phillip Alves and Rick Leitao of Woodfield Design + Build are passionate about creating custom homes that make a statement. They design beautiful and functional spaces that are highly personalized. Designs are all done in house and clients are encouraged to make modifications that best suit their lifestyle.

Red Acorn Studio is a full-service interior design firm in London, Ontario. Lea Legg specializes in tailoring residential spaces to clients’ needs through creative problem-solving, special attention to form, function and detail. Some of her greatest professional accomplishments include starting her own business doing what she loves, being published in House & Home Magazine and being part of the Dream Lottery over the years.
