Michelle Gibson will tell you entrepreneurialism isn’t something she arrived at innately. It took some coddling — initially from a mentor who recognized a spark for enterprise, and from her own profession.
“When I started my practice, I tried to handle everything on my own. I was afraid of letting anyone else in. Fast forward to today, and I have an incredible team —brilliant, creative and dedicated — who take on many of the roles I once tried to do alone”
“The hardest part was confronting the personal baggage I unknowingly brought with me into business,” she recalls. “It wasn’t until I began doing my own personal developmental work — thanks to my therapist — that I began to see how those past experiences shaped my present. Once I worked through those barriers, I was able to build the business I have today.”
Established in 2021, Gibson & Associates is comprised of a dynamic team of therapists collaborating on shared ideals and helping to shape the practice itself.
