Early in her career, she recognized the powerful role leadership, culture and communication play in shaping the employee experience — sparking a passion for creating environments where people feel supported and set up to succeed. “I’ve always been drawn to roles where I could help solve problems, support others and bring structure to complex situations,” she explains. “That naturally led me to human resources, where I could combine my interest in people with strategy, policy and organizational growth.”
Learning to trust her judgment and stand by her values, Peter speaks candidly about the pressures women can face in professional environments. “As a female professional, there can be pressure to take on more, to always say yes and to be everything to everyone. I’ve learned that setting clear boundaries not only protects your time and energy but also allows you to show up more effectively in your role.”

Grounded in authenticity, she believes success comes from forging one’s own path. “My advice to women looking to succeed in business is to trust your voice and own your space,” she says. “You don’t need to wait until you feel 100 per cent ready to step into opportunities. Growth comes from taking on challenges and learning as you go.” ![]()
