DR. CHRISTINA CHAN has built her practice around a simple but often overlooked healthcare principle: patients should feel genuinely heard, understood and cared for. With a focus on personalized, comprehensive eye care, her clinics prioritize education and a high-touch experience that extends well beyond the exam room.
“It’s not about doing everything, but about doing the right things well”
“I wanted to create an environment that allowed for more time, education and a more personalized approach to care,” explains Dr. Chan. Through thoughtful systems, clear processes and ongoing investment in her team, she has created a model that balances efficiency with genuine attention to each patient. And her leadership style has evolved alongside the business, too.
“Early in my career, I tended to over-soften things, but I’ve learned that strong leadership comes from clarity and consistency,” she explains. “I also learned the importance of communicating recommendations in a way that patients can truly understand and feel comfortable with — it’s about taking the time to educate, answer questions and help patients make informed decisions about their care.”

Placing a strong emphasis on continuing education and staying connected to what’s evolving within both eye care and aesthetics, Dr. Chan focuses on treatments and technologies that genuinely benefit patients. “It’s not about doing everything, but about doing the right things well,” she stresses. “When something aligns with our values and improves patient outcomes, we take the time to implement it properly and ensure our team is confident in delivering it.”
