BUILT ON GRIT, faith and family, the Ultimate Bath Systems business began as a partnership between founders Julie DiGirolamo and her husband, Pino, both seasoned entrepreneurs with roots in the home renovation and dining industries. Seeking a new chapter, they launched their venture with a small but dedicated team that included their daughter, Jennifer, whose hands-on role has spanned everything from administration and tradeshows to onsite installations.

“Bathrooms are especially exciting to renovate,” says DiGirolamo. “It’s where you start each and every day.”

“We are thankful for each day, pray for wisdom and fresh new ideas. For us, it really is a matter of faith — we really rely on that for everything” —Julie DiGirolamo

What started modestly has grown into a thriving operation, including the launch of sister company National Acrylics, a London-based manufacturer of decorative wall systems for tubs and showers. Despite challenges such as cross-border competition and economic headwinds, the family remains ardently committed to affordable pricing and craftsmanship. “We try really hard to make sure our pricing is fair, whether we are selling to DIYers or quoting a job we would renovate,” she says.

Guided by faith, continuous learning and a passion for product innovation and design advancement, driving DiGirolamo is the continual joy of building both beautiful spaces and lasting relationships.

“Receiving referrals from our customers in either of our companies is always wonderful; word-of-mouth is the best way to advertise,” she says. “We are thankful for each day, pray for wisdom and fresh new ideas. For us, it really is a matter of faith — we really rely on that for everything.”
