AutoVerify acquires B.C.-based AIM Experts to further expand its digital suite of tools for automotive dealers

LONDON-BASED AUTOVERIFY HAS acquired Kelowna, B.C.-based AIM Experts, an advanced inventory merchandising solution provider.

A division of Mobials Inc., AutoVerify offers automotive dealers a suite of digital retailing tools that helps them connect with online shoppers and then convert and support the consumer purchasing path.

Founded in 2012, AIM Experts specializes in inventory management and automated content solutions for automotive dealerships, helping dealers save time by automating the manual task of inventory management and helping move more vehicles by optimizing their vehicle listings.

According to AutoVeryify, the AIM Experts platform is used by approximately 400 dealerships.

“We have been watching this company for quite some time and have been steadily impressed by their development and marketing of solutions that will help our dealer customers succeed at this time of great industry transition,” say AutoVerify founders, Marty Meadows, James Hayes, David Brebner and Brad Hanebury, in a released statement.

The partners add that the acquisition will allow AutoVerify to increase their ability “to solve pain felt by automotive dealers and enter the U.S. market with a more vertically-integrated solution.”

More specifically, AutoVerify says the acquisition will allow dealers to better display, market and merchandise vehicles from their vehicle details pages, and better equip them to highlight the features that differentiate their vehicles from their competitors. It also provides dealers with an opportunity to introduce and explain finance and insurance offerings.

“I am confident that the work we have done to create a top-quality digital platform will be nurtured and developed by this exceptional team and integrate beautifully to provide a best-in-class, end-to-end solution that will help our dealer customers adapt and thrive in the new, highly digital way that dealers will be operating moving forward,” says Rick Balkan, CEO at AIM.

“This acquisition comes at a time when AutoVerify is focused on helping auto dealers adjust to the post-Covid environment of remote vehicle research and sales,” AutoVerify says in the statement.

“This acquisition will allow dealers to better display, market and merchandise vehicles right from their vehicle details pages. By integrating the products provided by AIM into the AutoVerify digital retailing suite, auto dealers will be better equipped to highlight the features that differentiate their vehicles from the vehicles sitting on competitor lots, while providing an opportunity for dealers to introduce and explain finance and insurance offerings at a time when Covid-initiated changes are creating inventory challenges and limiting showroom traffic and opportunities for face-to-face sales.”
