Looking for more London innovators
The second installment of the TechAlliance London Innovation Challenge will award $20,000 to three innovators advancing the post-pandemic recovery

TECHALLIANCE OF SOUTHWESTERN Ontario has launched of the second round of the London Innovation Challenge.
A London Community Recovery Network project funded by the City of London, the London Innovation Challenge aims to boost and scale select London-developed solutions to address the pandemic recovery in areas of focus identified by the London community – Investing in People, Driving Prosperity and Fostering Community.

Earlier this month, TechAlliance announced the winners of the first London Innovation Challenge ― Caring Support, Locorum and Zersent as the winners of the first challenge.
The second challenge ― Strengthen Business Health ― is seeking London innovators who are developing a sustainable technology solution to address a new challenge facing our community. Three recipients will win $20,000 in funding each, plus custom business advisory services through Techalliance’s startup advisors and Venture Growth team.
Now open to applications, the challenge is looking for innovations that step up to support small businesses, including culture and tourism-based operators focused on safe post-pandemic environments, and marketing initiatives that allow businesses to adapt to changing consumer behaviors to advance the prosperity of London’s economy.
Applicants are required to submit detailed information about their innovation, including how it will demonstrate a measurable impact in London, how a $20,000 investment will be beneficial to the solution, how the innovation is designed to scale and how the innovation is financially, environmentally and ethically sustainable.

Applications will be open until December 3, 2021, and the successful recipients will be announced on December 15, 2021.
