Yola Ventresca takes helm at Lerners

LERNERS LLP HAS announced the appointment of Yola Ventresca as managing partner of its London office, effective January 1, 2022.

Ventresca, a London Inc. 20 Under 40 alumni (Class of 2016), takes the helm at Lerners from long-time managing partner and corporate lawyer, Graham Porter, who will continue as chair of the firm.

“Yola is an outstanding choice to lead the London office as we continue to embrace change and emerge from the pandemic,” Porter says in a released statement from the firm. “She is a skilled lawyer, a community leader and an agent of change. We are in the best of hands and I look forward to working with her in this new capacity.”

A first-generation Canadian of Lebanese origin and a first-generation lawyer, Ventresca is an accomplished litigator and certified workplace investigator with a track record of successful strategic leadership, business development and involvement in the London-area community. She is a member of the Health Law, Professional Regulation, Commercial Litigation, and Class Actions Groups. She is also the founder and lead of Lerners’ Workplace Investigations practice.

In addition to her advocacy and firm leadership, the statement reads, Ventresca “continually demonstrates an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others through her significant contributions to the advancement of the legal community, especially as it relates to issues of equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as mentorship and education.”
