MELISSA MCINERNEY, AMANDA Wolfe and Jelena Boocock built tbk on a simple belief: that clients deserve more than an agency — they deserve a true partner.

Research consistently shows that women-led businesses outperform on revenue, innovation and culture. At tbk, that’s not a talking point — it’s the daily reality. The agency is over 80 per cent female owned, more than 75 per cent of its VP leadership is women and over half its team identify as female. Not by design. By standard.

“Our clients are movers and shakers, so our team has to move faster and think further ahead than anyone in the room” —Melissa McInerney

McInerney founded tbk after running two companies and dreaming of an agency that moved faster, thought further ahead and genuinely invested in its clients’ success. Wolfe brings that vision to life through a bold marketing strategy. Boocock ensures every digital experience is built to perform as beautifully as it looks.

Together they lead a team of 25 across brand strategy, digital experience demand generation and marketing technology — working the full cycle, because real growth demands connected thinking.

“Our clients are movers and shakers, so our team has to move faster and think further ahead than anyone in the room,” McInerney says. “We attract exceptional people who see problems, solve them and are relentlessly committed to being better.”

Her advice to women building something of their own: “Find your tribe. Invest in yourself relentlessly. You are your company’s greatest asset. That’s not a luxury — that’s the formula.”
