THE ONTARIO REAL Estate Association (OREA), which represents 80,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 37 real estate boards throughout the province, has announced the election of London-based real estate broker Stacey Evoy as its 2021 president-elect.

Evoy, a broker with Royal LePage Triland Realty, will also serve as provincial director for the Western Ontario Area at OREA, representing realtors from Chatham-Kent, Grey Bruce Owen Sound, Huron Perth, London and St. Thomas, Sarnia-Lambton, Tillsonburg, Windsor-Essex County and Woodstock-Ingersoll on the 2021 OREA board of directors.

“I’m excited to represent the association as president-elect in 2021,” says Evoy. “Despite the economic uncertainty brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, our realtor members, boards and associations persisted and made great strides in achieving higher professional standards and keeping the dream of home ownership alive for Ontarians and their families. This is all thanks to the exceptional advocacy work and unparalleled engagement from realtors across the province, from London to Thunder Bay and beyond, and I look forward to seeing where we go from here.”

Active in real estate for 17 years, Evoy is a member of the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors where she served as a director for eight years before becoming president in 2016. She has also served as a member and chair of several LSTAR committees and advisory groups and has been a member of OREA’s REBBA Review Task Force, and government relations and standard forms committees.
